Why the Ivy?

The ivy has been regarded as a symbol of survival and determination. Ivy is also a potent symbol of life, for it is one of the last plants to keep its green leaves. It clings to almost anything, climbing up toward the sky even as it roots itself deep into the earth. The power of bending in order to find a way forward, its stems, flexible and narrow, the leaves, pointed, like a triangle, represent clear intent and forward movement. Its return after it has suffered damage or has been severely cut back, is the perfect representation of the human spirit and the strength we all have, regardless of how harrowing our setbacks may have been. The ivy is intertwined in my name and I regard it as an illustration of my ability to help you grow in your healing journey. The ivy moon reminds us that it is time to focus more on our own individuality and the resilience involved in this potent symbol of life. Let me help you find your power in healing.
